Wow. That was intense.

The beginning confused the heck out of me as I right then and there decided you had stopped posting quality content. Lol!!
Soooo glad I stuck it out. Incredible. The song was perfect. He chose the best clips from some movies I had even forgotten about. I watched it with earbuds in, alone and in the dark and it is UNNERVING.

Love this. The ending!!! Dang.

Have faith in Rot! haha

Yeah, this was really well made... the intro gives the impression it's all gonna be that one movie.. but nope!

I wonder why he chose to go that way at the beginning...

His/her favorite movie maybe? Lord knows I'd start mine out with stuff from HALLOWEEN III..not the most loved thing out there!

Honestly the more I think about it I like that we were fooled. You’re not immediately thinking:same old montage video again.

Yeah...good point.

I’m pretty good at making points...

Another good point.

That was fun, and really well put together!

Great track splice, excellent editing, and crescendo. 'The Hidden' as the leadoff was a total curveball.

Also, thanks to reading through the comments, I now have to remove a 'Silver Shamrock' earworm...

The flow of the editing is Amazing. Opening up with "The Hidden" is Brilliance. i feel like he's saying, "Buckle up you are in for some BasAssery both musically & visually!!!" Special Agent Dale Cooper & Michael Nouri. haha. Gahhhh tho. i LOVE that there are soooooo many KickAss ladies in this montage too. Heroes.

LOVED his Argento & Fulci choices. Phenomena & The Beyond definitely don't get enough play. i really dug seeing Inga's (the chimp) little shadow running along the side of the house it's so precious & symbolic of us, the listener following along with the montage.

His movie clip choices are very interesting. Like with Jane Rudolph (the original Cat People clip) jumping into the pool trying to escape? Because then Salma Hayek (the sexxxiest snake charmer ever) is moving perfectly in sync with the music & is pulling us back in & saying, "Nope, you can't escape this ride just yet!" haha. i LOVE the iconic clip of Marilyn Burns (TCM's Sally Hardesty) crashing thru the window to start the official chase to the ending of the montage which then finishes with that glorious ending of "The Witch". For a movie that is only from 2016 that ending is pretty iconic. It's also the perfect love letter to All ladies then & now. It's like saying.."Ladies are worth so much more than ever having to settle."

The music is MINT. A few times i thought it was going to subtly slide into "The Equalizer" theme & or the theme from "Night Rider." That energy sweep is SO prefect in the undertones. It's a chance to rest a little before the chase quickens again.

i think Carpenter Brut (not his real name) should hook up with John & Cody. They could tour as "The Carpenters". haha. LOVE!

Yeah, I was pretty impressed as this video kept playing. And naturally seeing Freddy was primo. Loved the choices of horror films you don't typically see in these things.

Confession: I never saw Phenomena. But plan to!

Yes do! It's strange & wonderful. Jennifer Connelly & Donald Pleasence are fantastic. Dario's ex Daria & his daughter Fiore are also part of the cast. There's even a small cameo with director Michele Soavi! & Inga the chimp is the best.
