Vintage Halloween

So many amazing pieces in this collection.  I've featured Brenda's photos a ton of times over the years. In my travels, I'm thinking she has the most impressive personal collection of vintage Halloween decor that I've ever seen.

I remember in my late teens, begging my parents to be on the look out for vintage pieces at antique stores not even knowing the value of them at the time, not knowing how huge of a market these would become, just knowing that I loved that they brought back so many neat memories of Halloween as a child and from Halloween’s before I existed.

Thanks for sharing that, Sar.
I recall seeing stuff like this when I was younger and it had such a creepy element to it. Like you knew this stuff was unusual and odd and not just ordinary Halloween decor. Like for me it was those old mache lanterns with the rounded facial features. Those are still so odd and strange to me. I regret not owning any of those.
And I'm all for reproductions, btw! So I should really pick up some of those mache lanterns.

So many amazing pieces. Especially the witches with brooms.

I love this vintage stuff, very cool! Makes me wish I started my collection years sooner.

I love that there are so many cat pieces in her collection....really love that green one on the left side and the weird little black one with the weird smile. : ) I agree about that era of Halloween decor having a creepy vibe...kind of sinister feeling.

Nifty! I also look for the kitties. Only the vintage stuff can have this kind of vibe....that goes for houses too.
