Men In Suits

A documentary in the works exploring the men inside the Hollywood creature suits.

OH wow! I can not wait to see this. I love behind the scenes stuff. I hope they do go into detail about Pan's Labyrinth creatures. My favorite movie of all time.

Doug Jones is the coolest. A lot of performers would have a hard time just functioning in some of those suits. The way he embodies those creatures in such nuanced ways is a testament to his ability.

been watching Face Off?
I love that show, such talent :)

nah, I always say I'm going to tune in and then always forget.

I tried MONSTER MAN on syfy and didn't care for the fake injected drama. I just want to see a show featuring a creature shop where the family members/employees aren't bickering over some invented-by-the-production-staff dilemma.

I'll make a point to try an episode of Face Off..thanks for the recommendation.

I like Face Off, there is production induced drama occasionally but it feels genuine. One artist is procrastinating and puts themselves up against it, that sort, is what it is. Monster Man, I was totally geeked for but like you said, was turned off by the family dynamic I guess, so only made it through episode 1 and half of 2.

I totally agree with "labratt's" statement about both Face Off and Monster Man. Waiting patiently for American Horror on FX to start Oct. 17th....I have a weird obsession with insane asylums.

Pooley's Pumpkins...I have a weird obsession with insane asylums too! What is this American Horror? I've not heard of it. Heading to Penhurst this fall for their haunted attraction but honestly just want to check the place out. =)

@Shani...American Horror is a show on cable channel FX..last season was Murder House...this season is The Asylum...just google the show's title...also have you checked out Waverly Hills Sanitarium??

Ahh Ok...I do think I remember hearing about the show now. I definitely want to check it out.

I've never been to Waverly...but I've seen every show/documentary/bad movie made about the place. Have you been?

Oh and as far as Face Off Rot...you definitely need to check it out. There is some drama...but watching the contestants work through the challenges more then makes up for it. It's really cool to see how they do things with the time they are allowed.

Monster Man was absolutely a total dud. I was super excited for that show and so disappointed with it when it finally came out! Not sure if you caught Making MOnsters on ScyFy...but that one is also worth checking out. Much better and no weird family drama.
