Old School Strobe

Went to Michael's for some supplies and picked up a GREAT strobe light sound effect device. Just something to have around the house. I shot a video of the strobe effect and the wonderful old school ghost sounds against my Crypt Corpse prop. A ton of ghosts and chains and so many weird sounds in the background. Reminds me of all the houses I loved on Halloween night. The ones with fake spider webs and strobe lights flashing and a sound effect cassette playing in the background.

I love this thing (click the pic to watch):

Are the sounds coming from the strobe?

Never mind I just reread your post, they are pretty loud. What other sounds does it come with?

I should have put up a pic of the strobe thingy.

It's small and fits in your hand. A dial controls the speed of the strobe effect - i had mine set on the slowest. The sounds come from the device too. Very cool. They pause for a moment and then play again.

Old school fun.

There are two types of strobe sound thingies - the same sounds on both types, but one is a flashing black light and the other is the classic strobe white...

But no options for the sound. Just what you hear in the video. Just one switch on the box that turns the light and the sound effects on at the same time.

Oh, nice! I've been wanting a strobe, but most flash too fast on even the lowest setting. This could actually do the trick!!! Thanks for the tip!

I didn't see these at my Michael's, but they may not have them out yet. I'll have to ask the staff there.
