I really appreciate your props' TEETH. They're always so crooked and dirty and REAL-looking. I think that might be one of my favorite details in your work.
Thanks, guys! I have had many a service guy down there and they are always uncomfortable. And most of the time they do not make eye contact with my props. It’s like they were trying to ignore them.
Ok, imagining the first-time plumber's thought process truly gives me great joy. :)
So, what's the move? Do you provide any kind of 'I kind of like Halloween a little bit' kind of warning, or just say nothing and let the chips fall where they may?
The "Average person" ha! All us weirdos in the comments, over here loving the details and rotting teeth!!! Sorry, probably shouldn't speak for others, but your props are great! And it's been fun watching your influence seep into so many homemade decorations. Decay, rot, earth, vines, there's nothing worse than a clean store bought prop! IMO.even when they try to give it some kind of, "old", it's never enough!

Corpses decaying in your basement???
Have you ever considered incorporating acorns into your props? Could be a game changer…
I heard old vintage decorations featured them sometimes. ; )
Have you ever considered incorporating a sale of these to me? It could be a game changer! I can continue to let them decay in my basement!!!!
I don't suppose there is any chance that plumbers or electricians have to go through there?
(if there's not, please fib and say that there is)
In bright lights, great detail!

I love the pics man! It's neat to see them!
Tjalgahorn, I agree. The teeth are great!
Maybe they are collected at service visits. ;)

Oh, there's ALWAYS a brief warning as I'm opening the cellar door. "It's a little weird down there. I'm really into Halloween."
And then the silence as they totally ignore the props. It's pretty standard by now. The average person is unsettled by life-sized, weird figures.

haha thanks!
Glad you dig my rotting teeth!
One cable guy in particular went into the basement and was visually bothered by the props all around him. haha
