Creating The Shape

This video is lunacy.  Tommy Lee Wallace explains, and DEMONSTRATES, how they made the Michael Myers mask out of a James T. Kirk mask for the original HALLOWEEN back in the day.  I never expected to see this process actually unfold in a short video.  I've only read articles about it, so this is gold to me.

Thanks, Samhain!

Amazing! This is great.
And originally it took him roughly 45 minutes.

Right??
When it started, I was thinking "Thing's gonna look like poo at the end." But nope...it was totally the Shape.

Really cool he did this for the reasons you stated. You know how us masks geeks can get into heated debates over crazy things. I'll never forget showing Dick Warlock a coveted mask for the first time and he instantly responds "that looks small". I turn to the camera and say told you so. A few fellow geeks posted I had prearranged that reaction. No idea why I or Dick would of done that. Haha. Thanks for posting this.

God, you can't win! haha. Like Dick Warlock would even care to partake in such a staged event.
