We drove by a house today with two brick columns leading up to the front porch. On the top of each column sat a large cement-gray frog. It was a small modest house, and the frogs seemed like they should be guarding a vast old mansion with overgrown bushes and ancient trees with tired limbs.
I swear, if we ever win the lottery, our house will be out of control with things like this. I dare say bat-shit crazy.

Maybe they picked the frogs up from an estate sale?
And I'm with you. I have the "Lotto Win Architecture" in mind, just in case, too!
It's Toad Hall! Awesome!!:) hey if you can't be bat-shit crazy after winning the lottery, when can you be, right?
I agree. Even though my wife wouldn't like having jack-o-lanterns and bats decorating the large mansion we would buy with our lotto winnings.
I would have to have my own house off to the side. Kinda like a Halloween Quarters instead of in-law quarters.
I would have Edward Scissorshands topiaries...
Thinking the same way Mr.Rot. Inside the house would be secret passage ways, moving bookcases, tunnels....
There are stores on Central Park South and 57th St that carry these large bronze statues of animals, children and fairy like creatures. I love going in those stores and dreaming...
Frog shit crazy lottery syndrome, I have it too. I recently told someone that I would love to buy a sprawling old home to use solely as a "Halloween home" and have a secluded, 60s modern style as main residence.
The H house could even be a near year round experience with different artists coming in to modify and personalize for extended runs. Dare to dream.
I am doing just that, with concrete molds from ebay and 3 acres of florida maples. I would say I have about 100 sentinels and counting.....
Froggins!!!..yayyyyyy
i have a Real one as a pet...he's kinda Evil & his name is Harry, he sorta starved Fritz to death..boo :(
"House of Frog"..
now that's a Nice name for a Chinese Restaurant..
TOTALLY a chinese restaurant.
It would be GREAT. A massive Frog statue by the door.
we always had tree frogs as pets growing up. My father would wake us and call us downstairs where there'd be a moth flying around the ceiling above a lamp. He'd say "Boys, there's a moth in the house. Capture it and feed it to your bugs."
We'd reply, "Frogs."
Haha! Well then I really hope y'all win the lottery!
ahahahhahaha..No wayyyy!
& dads are such strange Creatures sometimes!!.
