totally.
We went into a michael's last weekend and we kinda ran to the Halloween area...totally still had summer stuff... a very desperate act.
I can not agree any more. I have seen a few commercials on T.V show or mention the word "Fall". I am SO ready. I think Michael's started to put out some Halloween stuff in August.
Michaels and Hobby Lobby both had fall stuff on their shelves as of two weeks ago down here in Louisiana.

Yup. I had been to Michael's just recently myself, I loved seeing that little glint of the autumn season returning. I'm chomping at the bit here Rot! Of course... We can't wish the time away toooo toooo fast. We need time to put together our creations for the grand holiday! ;)
Totally the same for me. I am so ready for Summer to be over and Autumn and Halloween to be here. Just yesterday, I put out my first decoration — a small crow — hoping it will hurry things along.
Ditto all! But I still need time for the pumpkins to grow. Want LOTS more field pumpkins even though a couple of large ones are ripening already.
I miss these small shops like the one in the photo appears to be. None by us anymore, Just Michael's, Hobby Lobby, The Home Store etc. and they just don't take the pride in their displays like the little mom and pop places did.

Christ...I got excited because my almond milk had an expiration date of Sept 14th.
I think I'd be banished from this blog if I didn't say I was ready for fall, but luckily I am! :) we are spoiled out in so CA with so many unique stores and shops and a few good haunts. Looking forward to it all! We're thinking a family of mummies(son's request) or something similar for our costumes. We shall see.
Michael's in Maryland has autumn floral (plus gourds and stuff) out, but no holiday specific goods yet. I'm sure it's coming though!! :)
I soooooo totally agree!!! I HATE SUMMER with an all-consuming passion. And I need to see some H'ween aisles SO BAD right now that I have the shakes. >_<
